Accessories

The Accessory Kit contains useful tools and a variety of sample cups which make sample presentation and handling an easy task. The kit contains both Open and Closed Cups that help present granular and powdery samples to the SpectraAlyzer. To optimize the filling of the Closed Cups a most helpful filling tray and a spatula are included. A brush as part of the kit simplifies the repeated cleaning of the Closed Cups. The Open Cups included are most suitable for the presentation of pasty products like chocolate or sausage meat to the SpectraAlyzer optics. Additionally, some essential spare parts (air filters and fuses) are included. All accessories included in the Accessory Kit are available separately as well.

The Italian cup is a disposable cup for sample presentation and is your choice for any viscous sample that prevents you from reusing cups for sanitary reasons. Introduced mainly to analyse human and animal faeces it is possible to use this cup for many other applications that do not allow you to use standard cups. The samples are analysed in reflexion. The sample is applied to the centre of the cup and then covered with an object slide. By placing the slide onto the sample, any sample surplus is displaced into a surrounding spill. The Liquid Drawer was developed to perform routine determinations of multiple properties in liquid products such as wine, soya sauce, oils, beverages and liquid sugars.

The pathlength of the liquid cell inside the Liquid Drawer can be adjusted to allow the analysis of samples of many different liquid products. In combination with the FluiDrive sample conditioning unit, the Liquid Drawer facilitates highly accurate and reproducible spectroscopic measurements.

If the SpectraAlyzer shall be used for the measurement of properties in inhomogeneous products such as cocoa-beans, peas, animal feed pellets or whole grain the Rotating Sample Drawer is available.

It is a rotating sample cup with electronic drive mechanism and a controller integrated into the drawer unit. Dedicated for applications with non-homogeneous products such as protein, fat and moisture determination in grain, corn, rice, cocoa-beans, peas, soy beans or animal feed pellets. The SpectraAlyzer can be upgraded with the Rotating Cup Drawer to enhance its field of applications.

The auto sampler speeds up the analysis of a large number of test samples with minimal attention to analysis operation. Without having to be present to the progress of the automated analysis 100+ samples can be processed within an hour. Driven by the Application worx software, sample IDs can be setup quickly allowing also for intermediate calibration sample testing or flushing cycles. The output of the results can be customized to most requirements in LIMS operated laboratories.

The Maintenance Kit contains a collection of ready to use service parts, that have been carefully chosen to facilitate a quick and comprehensive maintenance of the SpectraAlyzer instruments. All spare parts that tend to wear over a longer period of time have been included. For each of the included spare parts a replacement interval has been determined to insure carefree operation of the analyzer. Besides the spare parts the Mainenance Kit contains some essential tools and utilities to always be prepared for a quick maintenance. Ask your local representative for a routine service or arrange for a service contract that would include the necessary spare parts.

Bluetooth Extension for the SpectraAlyzer.

This extension enables a wireless serial communication of SpectraAylzer instruments with remote computers over a distance of up to 100 m.

This printer for SpectraAlyzer instruments prints single multi-component measurement results for quick archiving or info. Time and date stamps are included in the printout as well as property names.

The Terminal Interface Package (TIP) broadens the functionality of the SpectraAlyzer. With this interface option enabled, the measured results can be put out over one of the SpectraAlyzer ports (RS232 or USB) to a PC-resident terminal-program. The data can now be saved easily and processed e.g. in a spreadsheet program. Additionally 4000 measured results can be stored as "Analysis History" on the memory card. Furthermore the TIP contains a "Calibration Archive" that provides 50 start-up calibrations stored on the memory card.

Powerful and easy to use olive mill for grinding olives. The mill speeds up the preparation of harvested olives for analysis with the SpectraAlyzer olive. The hammer mill, all made of stainless steel, produces a fine olive paste within seconds. The integrated countdown timer can be set according to the sample requirements (olive hardness) and guarantees a consistent olive paste quality from sample to sample that is most important for highly accurate analytical results.

The Cheese Cup is the ideal accessory tool to take samples directly from cheese blocks and present this sample to the SpectraAlyzer instruments.

The SpectraAlyzer with Liquid Drawer and FluiDrive is the perfect tool for high precision NearInfraRed (NIR) analysis of liquid samples with low to medium viscosity such as wine, spirits and edible oils. The FluiDrive is an optional compact device that can be placed directly underneath any SpectraAlyzer and contains pump units for the sample loop and heat transfer liquid loop for thermostating the liquid cell. The FluiDrive mainly serves as a thermostating device for the sample liquid and the liquid cell utilising a high power peltier device in combination with an intelligent micro controller. The FluiDrive is directly interfaced to the SpectraAlyzer and can be controlled by the embedded SpectraAlyzer software with its unique and simple usability.
